An 8-week term centring around abstracted landscapes with a focus on layering, introducing abstracted mark making in contrast with botanical elements to pay tribute to the details in the landscape.

Plus for those who have attended previous terms the option to expand your learning into the beautiful layering and creation of nature inspired works!

Through the lens of the landscape, we will explore various approaches to capturing the essence of place, using watercolour, gouache, acrylic paints and other mediums. Expect weekly exercises that will build your confidence with the fundamentals of art making in a relaxed and encouraging setting.

Guided by Nicole Black, you will engage with contemporary techniques that will enhance your current creative explorations or have you starting on your art-making journey!
