Strathmore Hotel Mural (Adelaide CBD)

I was approached to create a mural for a feature wall in the newly renovated Strathmore Hotel. The design features a colour palette that was inspired by historical paintings by Adelaide artists to honour the history of the hotel as one of the oldest buildings in the Adelaide CBD. In an old meets new mentality, these colours were used in a contemporary design of overlapping leaf shapes. Like the STEM mural, the intention of this design was to sit in harmony with the rest of the interior and create movement from one area of the space to the next.
