Torrens University mural (Flinders St, Melbourne)

I created this mural from an illustration I had drawn which incorporated very fine line drawings of fighting fish and peonies contrasted with abstract shapes. I have always loved contrasting detail with abstraction.

This piece was painted in Torrens University's communal space in their Flinders St campus in Melbourne. I chose a pastel colour palette that felt uplifting and friendly for this kind of environment.
