Victor Harbor Mural (Telstra Exchange building)

This mural introduced a brief that sought to accomplish a couple of important elements; creating an inviting and energetic wall for one of the main streets in Victor Harbor that celebrated the unique qualities of this coastal town. Like some of my other projects, botanicals immediately came to mind for this wall. Having spent many summer holidays around this area growing up, I wanted to capture the feeling of driving down the coast and knowing a week by the beach was around the corner. The movement of flowering gum, sections of blue and yellow as well as purposeful un-painted sections were selected to create this energetic piece.

Commissioned April 2020.

Wall size: 13m x 8m

Painting Assistant: Chris Dallwitz.
