Inspired by a previous garden space I resided alongside in the Adelaide Hills, ‘Into The Garden’ celebrates our connection to these green spaces and our inclination to step into them. Whilst this painting draws upon a specific space (and reference photos), it leans further into the abstracrt impressions and memories of this place.
This artwork is built up over many layers of acrylic and oil, giving the piece a translucent and glowing quality that picks up the light in various spaces.
