Full Day Abstract Painting Workshop

Join Nicole for a full day workshop from her studio in the Adelaide CBD. Focusing on techniques she uses to create abstract artworks, you will learn how to build up artworks using primarily acrylic paint on canvas but introducing mixed media elements. If you’re tired of pushing paint around without getting results, this class will introduce students to some alternative ways at looking at and creating abstract art.
Learn how to work with mediums, develop a colour palette, build up textures all within a relaxed and social class environment.
What to expect:
Tips on developing your own abstract painting style
Material recommendations
A dedicated class for experimenting and exploring multiple techniques and ideas which will act as a resource for future work
The ticket includes:
All materials including a small canvas, paints and brushes (as well as other mixed medium)
Light refreshments
Resources and materials for you to take home and continue your practice.

Refund Policy
Thank you for your interest in attending one of my workshops! Here are a few things to consider as you book the class:
We require a minimum of 5 participants for the class to go ahead. In the unfortunate case that a minimum number is not met we will look to reschedule the class to another date. Teacher reserves the right to cancel a class based on this number or in the case of illness etc. Participants will be notified with as much notice as possible so please make sure you have added your best contact details in the fill out form.
Studio details
A confirmation email will be sent when the tickets are purchased and I will also be in contact with all students 2-3 days before the event with a reminder email with information about how to get to the studio. I recommend making a note of the day and time that you can find on the ‘Classes’ page so that it is penciled in your diary. Please keep an eye on your emails in the days leading up to the event (sometimes unfortunately my emails will go to your junk mail so make sure you check there as well).
The studio workshop space is on the second floor of the building which may restrict access for some participants. There is a second lift access that is currently unused but please let me know if stairs will be an issue and I will see what can be done to accommodate this.
CANCELLATIONS
Refunds can only be issued outside of 7 days leading up to the workshop time and date. After that time frame a transfer of the ticket to another date/ workshop will be happily arranged. By purchasing this ticket you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
