Contemporary Botanical Watercolour workshop @ Sim+Co 10/05/2025

from $115.00

Saturday 10th of May 2025 10-1:30pm at Sim+Co 83a Unley Road Parkside

Join me for a relaxing session of watercolour painting, taking inspiration from local flora. Over the course of this workshop, we will investigate the nuances of the watercolour medium with a series of exercises and techniques, before exploring these ideas further by studying the botanicals. We will use Australian natives as our subject, with a particular focus on shape, layering and blending effects. You will walk away with a greater understanding of how to paint and create your own watercolour studies of everyday subject matter.

Ticket includes:

  • All artist-grade materials

  • Light refreshments

  • Resources to take home and continue your watercolour journey!

Beginners welcome. Spots for this workshop are limited to twelve spaces so bookings are essential.
