Ongoing Class Acrylic and mixed media
6-8:30pm every Wednesday night from the 15th of March until the 5th of April 2023.
Where: Level 2 Gresham St Adelaide (Nicole Black Studio)
Learn how to paint and develop your own acrylic paintings over four weeks in Nicole’s art studio in the heart of Adelaide CBD. Over four weeks we will look at techniques needed to build up contemporary abstract paintings. Working in a small group, we will cover mixed media approaches, colour theory, how to paint an artwork from start to finish. Nicole will introduce the methods she uses in her own practice as a full time artist as well as plenty of tips and tricks.
Students will be encouraged to explore subject matter that is of interest to them with guidance and assistance offered by Nicole through the duration of the course.
What to expect:
Small class sizes (maximum 8 students)
Materials are supplied however you will need to bring an art journal (sketch book) with you.
Relaxed environment in a real studio space.
Dedicated time to work on your artworks with the guidance of a teacher.

Refund Policy
Thank you for your interest in attending one of my workshops! Here are a few things to consider as you book the class:
We require a minimum of 5 participants for the class to go ahead. In the unfortunate case that a minimum number is not met we will look to reschedule the class to another date. Teacher reserves the right to cancel a class based on this number or in the case of illness etc. Participants will be notified with as much notice as possible so please make sure you have added your best contact details in the fill out form.
Studio details
A confirmation email will be sent when the tickets are purchased and I will also be in contact with all students 2-3 days before the event with a reminder email with information about how to get to the studio. I recommend making a note of the day and time that you can find on the ‘Classes’ page so that it is penciled in your diary. Please keep an eye on your emails in the days leading up to the event (sometimes unfortunately my emails will go to your junk mail so make sure you check there as well).
The studio workshop space is on the second floor of the building which may restrict access for some participants. There is a second lift access that is currently unused but please let me know if stairs will be an issue and I will see what can be done to accommodate this.
CANCELLATIONS
Refunds can only be issued outside of 7 days leading up to the workshop time and date. After that time frame a transfer of the ticket to another date/ workshop will be happily arranged. By purchasing this ticket you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
